Good to know
- Scanned PDFs that are only pictures of pages have no text to read. Upload the pages as images instead, and the AI reads them.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Up to 100 pages are read per document. For very long documents the summary is based on roughly the first 40,000 characters (about 15–20 pages of text).
- Each summary uses one AI generation from your plan; the free plan includes 15 a month.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document private?
Yes. Files are encrypted when stored, only you can open them, and your content is never used for advertising. You can delete any file, or your whole account, at any time.
Can it summarize Arabic or other non-English PDFs?
Yes. It reads documents in any language, and writes the summary in the language you write your instruction in — or in your app language if you leave the instruction empty.
Is it free?
Yes, the free plan includes 4 AI generations a month with no payment card. Each summary uses one.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Upload and summarize files from the website, the Android app or the iOS app.
